Neha Mahajan is a sitarist from the Beenkar Gharana, a renowned family tradition in Raga Music. She performs Raga , the melodic system at the heart of Indian music, in the Kharaj-Pancham Baaj (style), which highlights deep, resonant tones along with melodious yet fast paced compositions. Trained by her father, Shri Vidur Mahajan, and mentored by senior musicians like Shrimati Saswatti Saha, Shri Ravi Gadgil and Ustad Zunain Khan, Neha blends classical tradition with creative innovation and expression. She was featured in Ricky Martin’s Pausa which won the Latin-Grammy and was nominated for the Grammys. She was recognized with the Young Sitarist Award by Ganvardhan, in India (2025). With a Master’s in Philosophy, Neha invites audiences to explore the beauty, emotion, and timeless resonance of Raga Music.
