Neha is a talented Sitar player from the Beenkar Gharana, showcasing her deep love and passion for the philosophy and structure of Raga music through her exceptional Kharaj-Pancham Baaj. After learning sitar under her father, Shri Vidur Mahajan, in her early years, Neha is currently training under Ustad Zunain Khan, renowned for the Jafferkhani Baaj, an innovation of Padmabhushan Ustad Abdul Halim Jafferkhan.

She has collaborated with Ricky Martin on his album Pausa for 'Me Sangre,' which won the Latin Grammy and was also nominated for the Grammy awards in 2021. In May 2025, she was awarded the Sitarvadak Yuva Puraskar by the prestigious Ganvardhan Pune. Neha, who has a Master’s Degree in Philosophy from Savitribai Phule University of Pune, is also passionate about music and encourages others to learn sitar.
